Moist weather were forecast to persist along much of eastern Queensland this coming days as a low-pressure trough continued to draw in moisture against the coastal areas.
Tomorrow was expected to become the wettest day, with ongoing severe weather risk anticipated across various areas of both regions.

Public health experts cautioned that there was an greater possibility of thunderstorm-induced asthma across the state's northern country region, particularly given the ongoing climate situation.
